After labouring far to long on how to recommend this book, I can only say it's simply fantastic. I am eagerly awaiting the next book and hope that Mr Cassavoy continues to write as he has truly found his calling......... Audi Alteram Partem

I've never read anything like this. A very different future world from a very different perspective - a U.N. peacekeeper struggling with himself and those who now rule North America, in a time when peacekeepers could be the enemy. No bio of the author is provided but he obviously has a strong background in both peacekeeping and the military. His vivid battles scenes, involving fantastic new weapons, ring totally true in terms of military tactics and strategy. His story is filled with characters who are both engaging and believable, even in a strange new time. An excellent read. Ken O'Brien.

About the Author:

C.K.  Cassavoy served for 12 years in the Canadian Armed Forces before wounds suffered on a United Nations Peacekeeping Tour forced his retirement. He now lives with his family on a small plot of land in rural Central Ontario.

Cassavoy spends his time running a small online business, raising his daughters and avoiding housework.

He still writes, but only when 'the girls can't find me!'
